HR. Harper is a gay poet living in the redwoods above Santa Cruz CA. He was a creative writing major at UCLA, and then studied in the English Ph.D. program in at UCLA, without finishing. Writing poetry over these decades, he has only recently sought to publish. In the last few months he has poems published in Prospectus, online edition of The Write Launch, a Wingless Dreamer anthology, online issue of The Vital Sparks, online issue of 34th Parallel magazine, and High Shelf Press journal.
